Culver City Restaurants Update 2023

Last year we posted our list of favorite restaurants in Culver City. In the past six months, we have been to some new restaurant additions that we wanted to include: Lillie’s, Juliet and Pasta Sisters, Of course we still love the restaurants we brought you previously (Bianca, Margot and Etta) so we have kept the information on these amazing eateries as well. As we explained in our earlier post, Culver City has experienced nothing short of a renaissance! Without question, many parts of Los Angeles have grown both in population and price. Yes, Culver City has also participated in this phenomenon but somehow the town has remained quaint and casual. Some of our new favorite restaurants are in Culver City so we thought we would share several that we have visited time and time again

If you haven’t been to Lillie’s at The Culver Hotel, you are in for a treat. The hotel was built in 1924, renovated by Proper Hospitality for the past 7 years and has been restored to it’s previous glory. Lillie’s has a classic but contemporary vibe. It is a stunning space with wonderful food.

Juliet is located on Washington Blvd just down the street from the Platform. It is a stunning space with terrific service and a very French menu. The restaurant harks back to Paris; one of my very favorite cities. What’s not to love?

If you are looking for good Italian food in a casual setting, Pasta Sisters is for you. Located in the Helms Bakery complex, it serves yummy food that you can customize to your own taste. Chose your pasta and sauce for a personalized selection. Yes you have to stand in line, but the patio is lovely and spacious.

An adept description of Bianca “charming hospitality and unwavering devotion to delectable cooking.” “Bianca Restaurant is brought to you by Gianni and Nicola Vietina of Madeo Ristorante in partnership with Four Seasons Hotel executive pastry chef Federico Fernandez. “The menu is influenced by the owners’ roots….Italian, Argentinean and French.

Dinner is limited to Thursday through Saturday but if you can’t make it to dinner, the bakery is also renowned!

Another favorite Culver City restaurant is Margot. “With a market-driven menu inspired by coastal Mediterranean cuisine, regional wines and craft cocktails, Margot offers an elegant dining experience. Situated at the stunning rooftop of Platform in Culver City, Margot’s indoor and outdoor spaces include a stunning 360 degree view.” I have dined at both brunch and dinner. Menu is a bit limited but the view makes it all worthwhile.

Culver City is the fourth location for Etta, having started in Chicago and now expanding west. With a frequently updated menu of wood-fired pizzas, housemade pastas, and farm fresh salads, etta is a celebration of rustic cuisine that is thoughtful of the season.” I have been to Etta on three occasions: for dinner, brunch and drinks. It’s a casual, fun restaurant that is enjoyable no matter when you chose to go.

Perhaps Culver City isn’t the first destination you think of when considering a dinner in Los Angeles. But definitely give this gem of a city a try. It is casual, comfortable and you will love these restaurants!
