Activewear or Loungewear? Your Choice
Well spring has finally sprung here in the South Bay! It seems like everyone is out and about with this beautiful weather. It’s been a busy weekend for sure. Yesterday I attended an afternoon tea with Wendy and her family. This is an annual event for a charity organization that her sweet Mom is part of. Then dinner out last night which was a big outing for my boyfriend Rick, as he is 3 weeks post knee replacement surgery!
If you ask Wendy and I what we most love wearing, it has to be comfy activewear. Whether we’re wearing it for sport or just hanging out, it’s definitely our style of choice. As happens many times, we both opted for the same piece. We chose the Sweaty Betty After Class cropped sweatshirt in blue, but there are 7 additional colors offered! We are showing a few of the color selections below. You’ll see them when you click on the link. On the bottom I’m wearing the Vuori Studio Flare leggings. They’re a high rise flare leg which gives them more style than a basic legging, although the performance fabric is the same.
Another option for a bootcut legging is available from Sweaty Betty. The leg is slightly wider than the slim flare.

As my friends know, I’ve been bitten by the Pickleball bug! Once you start playing, it becomes quite addicting. Here I’m sporting an “after game” look or just all around soft and relaxed with the Vuori Long Sleeve Halo Crew and the same jogger as shown above. Wendy found these same pieces in pale green at the Vuori store. Conveniently we have one located in downtown Manhattan Beach. Having it so close can be dangerous! She tops off her look with an Organic Cotton Baseball Cap.

Another comfy option to wear with flare leggings is your favorite hang around sweatshirt. Mine is a lightweight french terry from Free City in Pink Rabbit. Basic and simple!
