Easy Breezy Floral Maxi Dresses

Hi Friends,

We’re cruising through this week and still thinking about our fun filled festival weekend! Our local town Redondo Beach hosted the annual BeachLife Music Festival, right in our South Bay hood! Gwen Stefani was definitely the highlight on Saturday night but we also enjoyed John Fogerty, Sublime and Band of Horses. There’s something about being outside on a nice spring day, letting loose, drinking cocktails and dancing to good music!

Today’s post highlights our picks for casual spring maxi dresses. Both Wendy and I are favoring ditsy prints in neutral colors that are denim friendly.

This ditsy floral maxi dress from Faherty isn’t my normal go to style but it spoke to me. It’s a prototypical Ralph Lauren vibe meets casual boho. I like it accessorized with chunky heeled sandals, sneakers, platform clogs or flat gladiator sandals. I love the puffed sleeve detail and the neutral colorway that works so well worn with a denim jacket. I accessorized with this super cute woven bucket hat. My leather platform sandals are Clergerie from Saks. I also wore this dress wine tasting in Napa with white Nike sneakers.

Some additional styles at lower price points are below

Great Floral Print; Perfect Midi Length; Full Sleeve; Front Tie Detail $168.00

Maxi Length; Button Down Bodice; Gathered Tie Waist $74.00

Low V Neckline; Dainty Front Buttons $65.00

Wendy is wearing an indigo blue printed dress from Madewell that she bought last summer. It has cute tie back detail and is super denim friendly. She’s wearing it with casual gold sandals and the perfect straw hat. Since this dress is no longer available, here are some other suggestions:
