Our Current Obession: Gola Sneakers
Harriet and I are currently obsessed with the sneaker brand Gola. This brand began in England in 1905 and although has been well known in Europe for decades, it really didn’t come to the US in a major way until 2013. At that point the brand created a US subsidiary and it began to be noticed. We love the brand heritage. The retro styling is spot on but has been updated to make it relevant for today’s consumer. Some of our favorites are the Indiana (which I am wearing) and the Grandslam Trident that Harriet has on. If you don’t know Gola, allow us to introduce you…
We began to take notice of Gola sneakers when Harriet started working at Evereve. The store has a well curated sneaker selection and Gola is an important addition. The styles shown are the Grandslam Trident and the Indiana. But there are so many more styles to love!
Harriet is wearing the Gola Grandslam Trident. The contrasting hot coral accent color is so on trend. However, the Grandslam Trident comes in a multiple of color choices. Actually there are 12 different color combos. We are showing a few of our favorites. We also love that the Grandslam Trident styles are almost all from recycled materials. And the retro styling at $110.0 is perfection! All colors shown below are available at Nordstrom. Click on the pic and you will be taken to the Nordstrom site.
The Gola Indiana is my sneaker choice. One of the distinguishing characteristics of Gola styling is the use of multi colors. This shoe is perfect for my current go to wardrobe: dark blue, pink and a touch of burgundy. But if you are into another color combo, I have included some of the other color combos the Indiana comes in.
The Indiana is also made from recycled material and retails for $110.00. We love Gola’s commitment to sustainability and the fact that their sneakers are reasonably priced.
If neither the Grandslam Trident or Indiana aren’t for you, don’t fear. Gola has 30 styles available in women’s with more color combos than I can list. Prices are reasonable starting at $70.00 up to $135.00. The categories range from heritage styles, vegan, running and soccer. Just to give you a sense of the variety, we have shown a few of the other styles available.
Go to Golausa.com to see the terrific assortment this brand offers. In addition to Evereve, Gola is also available at Nordstrom, Anthropologie and Amazon. There are also styles for men and kids. I bet you will find a sneaker that you love.
