Evereve Spring Style Party

Hi Friends,

Happy Tuesday! Believe it or not, reporting on the LA weather really isn’t my side gig, but it is indeed raining again! Nonetheless I hope you all had a great St. Paddy’s Day and weekend. My boyfriend and I didn’t frequent an Irish Pub, but did enjoy going to our favorite local spot Joey Manhattan Beach. We love to drink cocktails and eat at the bar.

On Sunday Wendy and I hosted a Style Social Event at EVEREVE which is located here at The Point in El Segundo. Everyone seems to be ready for a spring closet refresh, so this seemed like the perfect idea! I’ve recently started working there as a part time stylist. Wendy and I both had long fulfilling careers as executives in the fashion industry. I had never really considered going back to retail but when this opportunity arose, I thought it would be fun…and it is! Working in retail is how I started my career while attending college. It’s funny how everything comes full circle. As cliche as it sounds, fashion has always been my passion! I love styling people and making them feel good about what they’re wearing. Both Wendy and I are huge fans of EVEREVE. They have a great mix of denim, fashion, active/athleisure, footwear and accessories.  Even with my employee discount I will have to exercise some control!

We invited our guests to shop & sip between 10am-noon, making the first hour a strictly private event. Everyone received 15% off their purchase. Who doesn’t like to shop with a glass of bubbly in their hand? We also had delicious pastries, fruit skewers and of course caffeine!

In spite of being the hosts, we still had to try on clothes! Wendy bought this cute floral midi dress to wear for spring. She’s specifically thinking about wearing it to the Beachlife Musical Festival coming up in May.

I was looking to add to my everyday athleisure style with this cute cropped sweatshirt from Sweaty Betty. I couldn’t decide between the deep blue or bright green! These flare power stretch joggers are also from Sweaty Betty.

You can tell in this pic that OD green is a hot color especially with the utility trend. Here we’re showing different options to our friend Jennee. She is heading to a work conference and was looking for some business casual pieces.

Love these pics with our bestie Kelli. She ended up buying the Vuori joggers she is wearing. Vuori is carried in stores only. My 70’s inspired retro print is the Martha Shirt from Ba&sh. I love the easy flowy fit!  My jeans are the Citizens of Humanity Daphne Crop in light wash. Love them too!

EVEREVE has a great shoe selection…especially sneakers! There is such a terrific assortment perfectly curated for the Evereve shopper!

There was so much new product to choose from! The best sellers from the event seemed to be active/athleisure, dresses, denim jeans, shorts, jumpsuits and sneakers. If you haven’t shopped at Evereve, you should definitely start. They carry a fabulous selection of some of our favorite brands (Citizens of Humanity, Paige, Splendid and Velvet just to name a few!) but also have the Evereve private label collection which is super cute.

All the gals were in the mood to buy spring! We’ll definitely host another Style Social for summer!

XO
