Winter Duster Coats

Winter is beginning to wind down but even here in Southern California there are a few more weeks to go. This week there is rain in the forecast so we will still be able to wear our favorite duster coats. It’s true that we can only wear them for a few months; we love how chic wearing a full length coat makes us feel!

It was quite warm today but I still have high hopes for a cold winter! Wendy and I are both loving duster coats. This is the year to wear them. We have always been fans but especially now. In this post we chose wool blends but duster coats also look super chic in other fabrications like leather and denim.

I’m wearing an effortless plaid coat from Evereve. It’s a wool blend and so well priced at $168! It adds a polished feel to any look, especially jeans and trousers. I’ve layered it over a soft rib hoodie, also from Evereve. Cuffed jeans are the AGOLDE Fran cropped length. Boots are Aeyde Leandra Bootie with a square toe and stacked block heel.

This houndstooth duster is from last year but still a favorite! It looks great worn over all black. Here are some alternative options:

Mirabelle Top Coat

J Crew $298.50

Plaid Double Breasted Coat

Nordstrom $119.50

Mason Houndstooth Knit Coat

Z Supply $199.00

Wendy is wearing a luxe heavyweight wool coat from Rails. It’s the perfect piece to elevate any outfit! It’s also available in camel, heather gray and black.

The Rails coat Wendy is wearing is also available in camel, heather gray and black as shown below. We love the color choices. The Everest coat is $398.00 but it is so versatile that it’s worth the price. It can be casual as we have shown it here or dressed up. Your choice!

Another great option at a lower price is the Mason Knit Coat – Z SUPPLY oatmeal heather. It also comes in camel, black and sapphire blue.

Here Wendy is sporting a Zara favorite from last season in heather gray. These pieces look great worn with high boots or ankle booties like the FALCON Black Ankle Leather Boots | beek. These boots are also available chestnut and cognac brown, in both leather and suede.
There are many options of duster coats to choose from. As always, please email us and I’ll be happy to provide additional links!

Wendy and I wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving!

XO,

Harriet
